We now have a yacht!!

Yemaya of Helford, is a Bowman 49, the best of British Boatbuilding from the 80s when the British  knew how to build a proper sailing boat. She is from the board of Holman and Pye and sails very well. She has a 75 HP Perkins motor which pushes her along handsomely in the absence of wind or when  motoring is more convenient than sailing.
She has a total of 10 berths and two loos each with shower.

Guest accommodation, normally a maximum of 6, consists of two settee berths in the saloon (and a pilot berth) two bunks in a walk through cabin between the saloon and the aft cabin and a double and a single berth in the aft cabin which has it’s own heads. The astute will notice that this makes 8 beds for 6 people so there is some flexibility within this.
