Yemaya

 

Seaworthy, and well equipped Yacht.

Yemaya of Helford, is a Bowman 49, the best of British Boatbuilding from the 80s with beautiful lines for speed and strongly built to sail in any weather. She is from the board of Holman and Pye and sails very well. She has a 75 HP Perkins motor which pushes her along handsomely in the absence of wind or when  motoring is more convenient than sailing.
She has a total of 10 berths and two loos each with shower. 

Guest accommodation, normally a maximum of 6, consists of two settee berths in the saloon (and a pilot berth) two bunks in a walk through cabin between the saloon and the aft cabin and a double and a single berth in the aft cabin which has it’s own heads. The astute will notice that this makes 8 beds for 6 people so there is some flexibility within this.
