I heard signs of activity at 0400 and got up with my alarm at 0410 whilst Simon and Lauren were chivvying the children into their clothes and doing last minute packing, primarily devices that had been on charge overnight. We left at about 20 past and I came as far as the loo where  we all said good bye and thank you and I returned to the boat whilst they headed for the bus.

By 0500 I was asleep again and assumed that the bus must have picked them up at 0445 as expected.

Once up and I’d written my blog I went and had a shower before returning for bacon and egg weekend breakfast with lashings of coffee.  By 1000 I was up at Lidl getting in some provisions and booze with the Lidl being about half a mile’s walk from the boat, ideal. I also went through the village and took some better pictures of the thatched roofs and remembered to take pictures of the children’s art work, Henry’s being the tree with lightning whilst the girls’ were imaginative patterns. I also went around the local museum which was interesting with some fine art work.

Once back on the boat, having forgotten to top up with uht milk I looked at the forecast which appeared to be wind going into the NE having Wly. Boring as I want to go NE. Planning looked like I should set off in the evening and head to the Falsterbo canal so as to get some nice strength if not direction winds in the morning so come about 1530, having sorted out the UHT issue,  I left and had a breezy sail to Falsterbo where I anchored for the night.
